Pledge to help the Pogonip Park Project

GOAL by August 1, 2025: $30,000

We’re raising $30,000 in seed funding to take the first step toward reimagining Pogonip as a vibrant public space — one that honors its rich history and reconnects local kids and families with the outdoors.

Pogonip is a cherished part of Santa Cruz’s past, once home to a historic golf course that brought the community together in nature. Today, we have a chance to build on that legacy — not through commercial development or private control, but with a vision that belongs to the people who love this land.

Your support will fund:

    •    Initial work with local architect Brad Angell and golf course architect Parker Anderson from Greener Golf to develop a thoughtful site and course layout

    •    Ongoing coordination by local golf professional and project lead Isaac Weintraub

    •    Critical site mapping and environmental studies needed to move the plan forward

We believe this project should be shaped by the community, not by any one donor or organization. That’s why we’re asking for your help.

Let’s create a space where kids can explore, play, and connect with nature — not just screens. Let’s restore and protect a piece of Santa Cruz history, for the future.

Join us in making it happen. Every dollar counts.
